On August 28, 2024, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange announced the list of designated delivery warehouses for PET chip futures, naming C&D Logistics Group Co., Ltd. as one of the approved facilities. With this latest approval, C&D Logistics and its subsidiaries now hold qualifications for nine futures delivery products, including ferrosilicon, silicomanganese, lithium carbonate, pulp, synthetic rubber, PTA, industrial silicon, cotton yarn, and PET chips.

The newly approved delivery warehouse is located at 3889 Hangzhou Bay Avenue, Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. To meet the registration requirements for PET chip futures warrants, C&D Logistics has made extensive preparations tailored to the characteristics of the product. These efforts include deepening collaboration with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain, establishing standardized business processes, and conducting multiple training sessions to enhance the professional capabilities of the team. These measures ensure the smooth execution of registration and delivery tasks, helping to maximize the effectiveness of futures as a tool for serving brick-and-mortar companies.

PET chips, short for polyethylene terephthalate chips, are a type of polyester product. Polyester products generally include PET chips, polyester fiber, and polyester film. Among them, PET chips are primarily used in beverage, food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic packaging; polyester fibers (including polyester staple fibers and polyester filaments) are mainly used in the textile industry; and polyester films are widely applied in packaging, printing, and optoelectronics.
